DE-FRY PROJECT

Half Term On-Line Programme 15th – 19th February, 2021, for young people between ages of 11-14 years deemed “at risk” or disproportionately affected by the COVID 19 pandemic.

We have funding for local young people in Herefordshire and would like to offer FREE places on a virtual DEFRY (Deep Ecology for Rural Youth) programme over half term week.

DE-FRY will provide opportunity for just 15 young people between 11-14 years old. Places are limited and booking up now!

Please help us offer places to young people on this exciting programme.

Engaging in activities around the natural world and key life skills, designed for home-based participation, participants will have fun, connect with others, learn about the natural world, creativity, and develop communication skills, confidence and motivation. I am sure you will agree the need for this right now. Woven throughout DE-FRY is iHeart training (Innate Health Education and Resilience Training) which is a new language and curriculum in mental health, well-being and resilience.

The B2W team are professionally trained, fully insured and adhere to policies, procedures and national guidelines, such as safeguarding and on-line working, set for outdoor education and community youth work.

We aim to have all the places filled within the next couple of weeks. This is a small pilot and the programme will be evaluated for the next stages of this project, which we will deliver in person post Covid lockdown.

Please help us by advertising this to your young people and their families so they may participate and benefit. Feel free to circulate this far and wide.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via email b2wcic@gmail.com or by telephone on 07747774211 should you require any futher information.
